31/08/2009 - Continue with control sticks

The brash bushings have to be reamed out for the bolts to sit in, a technique that was last used on the empennage and I also remembered the safety bulletin that meant I had to fix the co-pilot stick with a bolt

The following pictures show more of finishing off all the attachments for the control sticks

Of course I had to play with them once they were all connected up lol, but then made the spacers that go between the two sections of the bulkhead.

So with that bulkhead complete, it was time for the bulkhead that is positioned immediately behind the seats separating the cockpit from the baggage area

Found this part a little fiddly and it wasn't until I had taken these photographs that I had realised that I had not allowed sufficient hole clearance on the angled stiffener shown in the above picture.

Onto VANS for a new part :-(  only the second time I have scrapped a piece...famous last words
